Our Mission
At the core of our work are three key priority areas:
01.
Recognition and visibility of youth work.
Recognition and visibility of youth work: We are committed to making youth work more visible in society and to strengthening recognition for the field of work and its diverse tasks and activities. This is done through strategic public relations work that highlights the successes, diversity and impacts of youth work. Creating synergies between local and European youth goals and using a combination of European and national instruments to achieve these goals.
02.
Improving the quality of youth work.
Improving the quality of youth work: Through innovative projects at local level and the exchange of best practices, we strive to continuously improve the quality of youth work. The scientific support helps us develop well- founded and sustainable strategies.
03.
Networking of professionals in the field of youth work.
Our activities
Our measures to strengthen youth work: public relations, practical projects and European collaboration
Our activities include targeted public relations work, the development and support of concrete practical projects and the creation of exchange platforms for examples of good practice. These measures enable us to formulate valuable policy recommendations that are important both for the further development of youth work in Germany and at the European level.
Through the active engagement of young people, scientific guidance and close cooperation with political decision-makers, we ensure that youth work remains focused on to the real needs of young people and is scientifically grounded. Our approach is integrative and participatory, drawing on the experiences and ideas of the previous project “Transferstelle” as well as the young people and professionals involved in the project in order to shape a vibrant and future-oriented youth policy.
Our Vision
Together for future-oriented youth work: support, networking and European impulses
